If you do not know your role¶
Libraries, Search, and human-readable HTML pages are available without a PCA role. Accessing formats other than HTML requires the Reader role. A Creator can use the same retrieval workflows and can also author content. Review actions require the Reviewer role.
Read Roles, access, and content states, then use Get access and support if you need access. Searching and browser-based reading are the safest first steps because they do not change content.
Understand the documentation areas¶
- Platform and Services contains guides for the user interface and APIs.
- Libraries and Standards explains what each collection represents and who maintains it, so you can evaluate whether it fits your use case.
- Governance explains ownership, review, content status, and decision-making.
This documentation hub explains the content and services, while the PCA platform is where you search, read, create, submit, and review resources.
Before submitting or reusing Draft, Rejected, Deprecated, or Externally Managed content, read the content review process and review statuses and outcomes.
